Step inside and you’re immediately embraced by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that feels both modern and intimate. Customers consistently praise the friendly, knowledgeable staff, with many highlighting how baristas take genuine time to explain the menu and even offer samples—a testament to their passion and care for craft coffee culture.
The true standout at Café Mollie is their diverse and carefully curated drink menu. Classic Vietnamese coffee aficionados will find their cravings fully satisfied with offerings like the Vietnamese Iced Coffee—a bold, dark roast brewed strong, sweetened with condensed milk for that iconic creamy texture and sweet finish. For those looking to experience something more nuanced, the Saigon Coffee gently balances the intensity of espresso with milk, creating a smoother yet richly satisfying cup.
If you’re feeling adventurous, the signature drinks such as the Egg Coffee and the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha are must-tries. The Mango Sticky Rice Matcha beautifully marries luscious mango pieces with vibrant, earthy matcha—a refreshing and delightfully unexpected flavor harmony that customers rave about. Equally memorable is the Pistachio White Mocha, a creamy, indulgent treat that expertly blends nutty pistachio with silky white chocolate and espresso, igniting the palate with each sip.
Other notable specialties include the Ube Latte, White Pumpkin Latte, and the Vanilla Cold Brew, which impresses with its use of vanilla-infused coffee beans rather than overpowering syrups, giving it a smooth and naturally sweet profile. The menu also caters to families, offering children’s favorites such as Hot Chocolate and Italian Soda, ensuring that even the youngest visitors feel welcome.
Complementing the rich beverage selection are mouthwatering food treats like the crispy and savory Grilled Pork Banh Mi, a perfect savory counterbalance, as well as exquisite pastries sourced from Süss Pastries—including the Strawberry Fruit Tart and the tangy yet sweet Blueberry Hand Pie with Lime. These delightful pastries add a fresh, fruity dimension to the café offerings and pair beautifully with any coffee or tea choice.
Real patrons echo the café’s unique vibe and authenticity. Janelle shares how friendly staff helped her discover the mango sticky rice matcha, turning it into an instant favorite. Ethan Rycenga calls it his “favorite coffee place in Phoenix,” praising both the inviting ambiance and the amazing quality of its Vietnamese coffee. Ryan S admits being “hooked” on their Vanilla Cold Brew, appreciating the dedication to high-quality ingredients without resorting to artificial flavors. The manager and baristas receive special mention for their warmth and expertise, embodying a level of hospitality that transforms a simple coffee run into a cherished ritual.
Whether you’re a devoted coffee lover, a family looking for a cozy local spot, or a curious first-timer eager to explore diverse flavors, Café Mollie offers more than just drinks—it delivers an experience that invites you to slow down, savor, and connect. It’s this blend of exceptional coffee craftsmanship, unique flavor profiles, and heartfelt service that makes Café Mollie a refreshing oasis in Phoenix’s thriving coffee scene.
What a vibe! I loved it at Cafe Mollie. We came at a busy time on Sunday afternoon and were greeted by a wonderful girl taking orders at the counter. We chatted for a few and she told me about the mango sticky rice matcha and I just had to try one. We also ordered a matcha latte as well. We lucked out to find the last open seating for two while we waited. While on the smaller side it didn’t feel stuffy. The bright decor made it feel so much larger. Our drinks were out fast and were delicious. Parking was a sinch as well so I’d definitely call this place a win for me.if you don’t like matcha they of course also offer cold brew, espresso, Vietnamese coffee and more.
This is hands-down our FAVORITE coffee place in Phoenix. Located on Bethany Home (off the 51), this place posts a modern-look to their coffee shop. It is a quaint place, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is extremely nice, always willing to explain their drinks, and the love that goes into them. The coffee itself is AMAZING. You can never go wrong just getting the original Vietnamese Coffee, but I love going with the Pandan foam to add that sweet nuttiness to it. If you have never had Vietnamese-style coffee, or even if frequent in ethnic coffee, you need to visit Cafe Mollie!
This place is honestly too popular for their own good lol, they need a bigger spot to handle all the customers. Thankfully it's right by my house and I am HOOKED on their Vanilla Cold Brew because it's actually "vanilla infused coffee beans" rather then several pumps of syrup like other spots. So delicious and prices are very reasonable and actually see a number of drinks on the menu that are cheaper then big chain spots. The staff here are always very kind and it's a great spot to hangout, but does get very noisy as they're constantly full of customers.
Had to stop in to try the mango sticky rice matcha since it was definitely a different type of drink. Loved the mango pieces mixed with the matcha, it was yummy! Also tried the pistachio white mocha and this drink was fire! I would order it again! I will be back to try different drinks!
Came across this wonderful little coffee shop on a trip with my daughter. The manager Alyssa and fellow barista Margo were absolutely awesome!! They thoroughly took time talking about each unique coffee and topping that they can do. They even gave samples of a few toppings. The coffee is excellent but the staff is superior!! Cafe Mollie is a unique oasis among coffee shops in Phoenix with phenomenal Vietnamese coffees and teas!! I highly recommend them!
Whether you’re starting your morning, catching up with a friend, or trying to emotionally recover from an auburn-haired Swiss boy who absolutely knew what he was doing, Cafe Mollie is your sanctuary. Tucked into Camelback East like a minimalist dreamscape with fairy lights and desert-modern charm, this place has main character energy written all over it. One look at the matte black bike racks, the clean white walls adorned with desert murals, and the cozy interior that whispers “write your memoir here,” and I was sold. The staff? Friendly in that “we know your regular order but won’t judge you if you cry a little while ordering it” kind of way. The coffee? Bold. Delicious. Exactly what you need to power through a day of pretending you’re fine. And don’t even get me started on the Banh Mi—it’s the culinary equivalent of being wrapped in a weighted blanket and told, “You deserve better.” Whether you’re on your way to work, plotting your next life chapter, or dishing about your latest ex over an oat milk latte, Cafe Mollie is the place. 10/10 recommend—for the coffee, the ambiance, and the much-needed emotional support.
drinks were so yummy!! very inventive flavors and i want to come back and try more items on the menu! baristas were very nice and willing to answer any questions highly recommended
